Experience the future of Christchurch City with Augmented Reality (AR) technology! This application uses AR to overlay virtual buildings and city precincts on a real printed map, showing the planned rebuild following the earthquakes.
In order to use this application you will need a printed copy of the Christchurch Central Recovery Plan available from the Christchurch City Council, or CERA, or download a copy from http://ccdu.govt.nz/the-plan
You need to print out a copy of the Blueprint Plan map from the recovery plan, then run the app and point the camera at the printed map to see the AR overlay.
